Cavo Lacia is located 400 metres from Gavrio , the beautiful port of Andros, one of the Greek Cyclades Islands. The complex is within walking distance of two of the most popular beaches on the island.
Agios Petros is less than 50 metres away and Chrisi Amos is about 250 metres away. Both are resort beaches, with bars, water sports and umbrellas and sunbeds for hire and have been awarded with blue flags.
Gavrio is located on the west side of the island and used to be a fishing village until it slowly developed into a tourist destination. As well as the port and beaches, it has many facilities including restaurants, tavernas and shops. The nearest large town is Batsi, 7 km away, which has many traditional Greek tavernas, restaurants and the best night life of the island.
The capital of Andros, Chora, is 33 km away and is the largest cultural centre of all the Greek Cyclades islands, with many museums and tourist attractions, a central market, tavernas and shops. There are buses from Gavrio to Batsi and there are many other forms of transportation for hire locally, including cars, motorbikes and taxis.
